Hi, I’m Sam!
If you have found yourself on this page, you are likely deciding whether or not I would be the right coach for you - so let me tell you a bit more about myself and my healing journey.
I am a California girl at heart and have spent most of my life surrounded by the most gorgeous hikes, beaches and fresh local produce. I used to spend hours in the kitchen with my grandma learning about different ingredients knowing that one day I wanted to be just like her. Growing up this way immersed me in a culture of wellness, where an active lifestyle and wholesome, locally sourced foods were the foundation of my everyday life.
One could assume that with this type of upbringing, I seemed to have it all figured out. On the surface, I always appeared content and fulfilled, and I believed that I was. But over time, I began to recognize the patterns I was creating and the negative experiences I kept encountering, despite their emotional toll. I couldn't understand why I continued down this path that brought me so much anxiety and disappointment. I felt like I was constantly battling insecurity, self-doubt, rejection, and shame.
In 2020 I decided to go off birth control because someone told me that it wasn’t good for our bodies. This was completely new knowledge to me, but I had no reason to be on it at the time, so I thought why not? Fast forward to 2 years later and I was barely getting my period. This was both alarming and very confusing. I always had a monthly bleed when I was on Birth Control, what could’ve changed?? This is what propelled me on a journey to understand my hormones and what was happening to my body.
While on this journey, during a trip to Mexico with friends, my body sent me a powerful message. What seemed like a case of strep throat turned out to be a severe herpes outbreak—a physical manifestation of years of internal struggle, neglecting my body's needs and ignoring the signs of emotional distress.
This wake-up call forced me to address the deep-rooted issues I had been neglecting. I came to realize that this outbreak was a manifestation of my lifestyle and mindset at the time. I had absolutely no sense of balance in my life and was living heavily in my masculine. I was so rigid and hard on my external, completely shutoff to softness, compassion and love.
This is when everything started to make sense. I was so disconnected from my body, my feminine and my needs. I realized my symptoms were directly tied to my hormones, and the way I was living was completely out of alignment with my body’s natural rhythms - no wonder why I didn’t have a regular period. Not only did this experience motivate me to start to address my hormonal imbalances, but it also forced me to confront past traumas and the lack of self-love that had driven my repeated actions.
I began educating myself on nutrition, functional medicine, and hormone health, determined to find answers. Paired with a lot of therapy and self-reflection, I began to see how all of my imbalances were interconnected. This realization became the catalyst for my personal transformation.
I started experimenting with whole foods, healing herbs, and cycle syncing to balance my hormones naturally. I learned to align my movement, nutrition, and self-care routines with the phases of my menstrual cycle, rather than pushing through constant fatigue and burnout. Yoga and meditation became tools to calm my nervous system and reconnect with my inner feminine strength. As I embraced these practices, I began to feel more in tune with my body than ever before.
Gradually, my menstrual cycles became healthier. My skin cleared up, my period became regular, and for the first time, I truly felt connected and in conversation to my body. I had healed myself from the inside out—and I knew I had found my purpose.
My journey wasn’t easy, but it empowered me to become the advocate for women’s health that I needed during my hardest days. My story is one of standing in my power, being unashamedly myself, stepping into my authenticity, and loving every part of me, the good, bad and heavy - This was my journey to inner self-love and healing. I have learned to release resistance and trust the process even when I am scared.
I became a Functional Hormone Specialist so I could help other women who are facing similar challenges. Today, I work with women at all stages of life—whether you’re dealing with the frustrating ups and downs of hormone imbalances, navigating perimenopause and menopause, or simply trying to regain balance and vitality in your everyday life.
I believe in the power of natural, holistic healing because I’ve lived it. Through personalized coaching, targeted nutrition, and mindful practices like yoga, I’m here to help you reclaim your energy, balance your hormones, and feel empowered in your body again. You deserve to feel good, to feel aligned, and to thrive. I’m here to guide you through that transformation—just like I did for myself.

What is a Yogini?
So glad you asked! The name yogini translates to a female master yoga teacher and spiritual guide.
For me, this is a symbol of a female warrior - someone who has been able to find their inner and outer strength, someone who is able to face their insecurities and embrace them with compassion rather than hiding from the uncomfortable truths.
My goal is empower women to be their greatest advocate. To take the steps to heal their bodies and live their best lives.
Learn to overcome obstacles, face your fears and step boldly into the life you desire. I am a firm believer that the hard things in life are what make us stronger, and through my program, I empower clients to embrace their challenges as opportunities for growth, resilience, and profound self-love.
